Position Summary
A Cardiac Sonographer/Echocardiographer is a credentialed medical professional with academic and clinical experience to use imaging technology to help physicians diagnose heart problems in patients. They operate ultrasound equipment that provides moving 2-D or 3-D images of the heart and its chambers. The scope of practice includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education, clinical experience and completed ARDMS- RDCS and/or RVT or CCI- RCS registration, which is the standard of practice in Ultrasound.
Minimum Requirements
- High school or higher (or equivalent)
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current ARDMS (RDCS or RVT) or CCI (RSC) registration/certification
- 8 years of experience as Cardiac and/or Vascular Sonographer

- Primary Shift: Day
- Lab hours of operation 6:00am - 7:00pm
- Variable shifts will be discussed for weekday coverage needs.
- 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts may be required
- On Call: Yes
- Weekends: Rotating
