Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Tech. - Connections Healthcare Staffing.

Our client, a 100+ bed hospital in Northern VT, is seeking an Echo Tech to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain echocardiography services per American Society of Echocardiography standards.
• Oversee daily technical operations of the laboratory.
• Collaborate with medical and technical staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Perform echo exams prioritizing trauma and critically ill patients.
• Select optimal ultrasound techniques and instruct patients on procedures.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and required records.
• Participate in educational programs and attend department meetings.

Qualifications:

• RDCS from ARDMS, CCI, or CRCS by CARDUP required within one year of hire.
• 3 years of echocardiography experience or equivalent education preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with effective communication and organization skills.
