Job Description

TeamHealth is seeking a full-time BC/BE fellowship-trained cardiac anesthesiologist to both personally perform and medically oversee a range of surgical procedures. The perfect candidate will concentrate primarily on cardiothoracic anesthesia within a well-established team consisting of 10 physicians and 23 CRNAs. Our anesthesiology teams deliver care to thousands of patients in different clinical settings across hundreds of practices who have the same goal to advance the practice of anesthesiology.

Position Highlights

• Cardiac cases to include open heart, CABG, TAVRS, Mitral Clips, and Watchman procedures
• 70% cardiac with average 2 open hearts and 2-3 structural hearts a day
• Physicians cover 100% of their own open hearts
• General cases to include neuro, vascular, thoracic, ortho, oncology, OB/GYN, ENT, etc.
• 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month
• Post call day off
