Position Purpose:
To perform a variety of functions for Card Services, which includes all credit union card products (MasterCard Debit and VISA Credit Cards). These functions may include but are not limited to the following: assisting new and returning members with questions and concerns about debit cards and VISA credit cards, troubleshooting issues with card denials, processing of VISA Credit Card payments, production of instant issue cards in branch, and tests applications (i.e., new releases, updates, features). Essential Functions:
- Provide information to members on the plastic card products and benefits.
- Respond to member inquiries/problems in a courteous and professional manner.
- Process applications and/or requests for ATM, Debit and Credit Cards.
- Perform maintenance and/or updates on the plastic card products offered.
- Process payments, limit increases and decreases and setting travel plans for cardholders
- Update plastic card procedures when necessary
- Make recommendation for enhancements to the plastic card products as needed
- Detect fraud and trends in multiple payment channels
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Reconciling items are resolved within established timeframes.

Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High School degree or GED is required.
Required Knowledge:
Basic understanding of MS Office Suite is desired.
Experience Required:
Two years of related experience in Card Operations.
Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Good analytical, creative, and critical thinking skills
Excellent computer skills

Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive information.
Physical Strength:
Sedentary work (sitting most of the time). Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Reasoning Ability:
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry-out detailed instructions and to deal with problems involving variables.
Mathematics Ability:
Able to perform basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing using a calculator.
Language Ability:
Able to write and compose sentences using normal word order with present and past tenses, as well as a command of the English vocabulary.
Working Conditions:
Air-conditioned, smoke-free office setting.
