We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Capture Manager - Software Systems to spearhead our efforts in capturing and growing our Software Systems business within the military UAS and Sustainment sectors. This results-oriented position focuses on key objectives of generating new business and developing innovative revenue streams. The Capture Manager will oversee the entire capture process, from identifying opportunities to securing contracts, and drive strategic campaigns in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
o Develop and maintain customer maps and engagement plans
o Conducting market assessments and competitive analysis
o Identify and align customer needs with software solutions
o Crafting product offerings and differentiators
o Performing investment and business case analysis
o Conducting PGO/PWIN analysis and developing actionable plans
Qualifications:
o Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both internal and external stakeholders.
o Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude.

Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Capture Manager - Software Systems to spearhead our efforts in capturing and growing our Software Systems business within the military UAS and Sustainment sectors. This results-oriented position focuses on key objectives of generating new business and developing innovative revenue streams. The Capture Manager will oversee the entire capture process, from identifying opportunities to securing contracts, and drive strategic campaigns in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with military stakeholders and industry partners, identify and pursue opportunities, and deliver compelling technical briefings and software demonstrations with a focus on revenue generation.
- Strategic Campaign Development: Lead the development and execution of strategic campaigns to secure new contracts, including:
o Develop and maintain customer maps and engagement plans
o Conducting market assessments and competitive analysis
o Identify and align customer needs with software solutions
o Crafting product offerings and differentiators
o Performing investment and business case analysis
o Conducting PGO/PWIN analysis and developing actionable plans
- Proposal Development: Create and refine technical white papers, pricing strategies, and competitive proposals aimed at winning contracts and driving new revenue.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UAS and Sustainment business segment leaders to drive growth and align business development efforts with strategic goals.
- Market Exploration: Primarily focus on military markets while exploring and pursuing opportunities with commercial customers and applications to broaden the revenue base.
- Marketing Leadership: Drive marketing initiatives, including trade shows, advertising, and social media, to promote AVX software solutions to military customers and enhance visibility in the market.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in business development with at least 5 years of campaign capture experience. Software sales experience required. Experience in military aviation is highly desirable.
- Skills:
o Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both internal and external stakeholders.
o Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Travel: Up to 50% as required.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable standards, including meeting productivity and quality standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication in various settings.
