Are you a driven and experienced Capital Project Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in the Ingredient Manufacturing industry? We are a leading firm seeking a dedicated individual to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex projects that drive the success of our company. As a Capital Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing capital projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role is instrumental in the development and implementation of our strategic goals and objectives. You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that values collaboration and innovation.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning and execution, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
2. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
3. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
4. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
5. Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
6. Establish and implement project communication plans, ensuring effective and timely communication with project team members and stakeholders.
7. Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during the project cycle.
8. Monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders.
9. Implement project improvements and best practices to ensure project success and sustainability.
10. Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle.
11. Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
4. Proficiency in project management software tools.
5. Experience in Food Manufacturing is a must.
6. Demonstrated ability to lead and direct projects from conception to completion.
7. Exceptional communication, leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Solid ability to conduct and direct research into project-related issues and products.
10. Strong understanding of financial management and experience in managing project budgets.
11. Professional Project Management Certification, such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE II, is a plus.
