Job Summary and Qualifications
As the Complex Surgery Program Manager, you will provide administrative leadership to a specialized Oncology Clinical Program. In collaboration with physician and clinical leadership, you are responsible for developing and coordinating comprehensive and integrated disease site-specific oncology program pathways, processes and quality metrics across the Sarah Cannon Cancer Network. You will work with market/division leadership to implement programs, and supports delivery of leading-quality, cost-effective, efficient care.
The Complex Surgery Program Manager will provide training and development of colleagues e.g. Navigators. The Complex Surgery Program Manager also acts as a consultant to the markets/divisions and facilities, facilitating an interdisciplinary approach to achieve positive outcomes through physician-led, patient centered care. You will also ensure lasting organizational change and adherence to the programs through metric measurement and reporting outcomes to division and Sarah Cannon Cancer Network leadership.
- You will develop and coordinate, in collaboration with physician and clinical leaders, comprehensive and integrated disease site specific oncology pathways, processes and quality metrics across the Sarah Cannon Cancer Network that align with the Sarah Cannon Cancer Network vision, mission statement, and strategic plan
- You will lead the disease site specific workgroups at the Leadership (corporate) and Market levels in collaboration with Regional Vice Presidents and physician leaders
- You will develop enterprise, market and facility goals regarding clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, market share and financial performance
- You will oversee the work, projects and processes of various staff in development of the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center of Excellence toolkits
- You will work closely with the Sarah Cannon Cancer Network navigation and patient experience leaders in creating comprehensive cancer program processes
- You will establish communication protocol, creating feedback loops to ensure programs are continually meeting the needs of the enterprise and creating action plans for enhancements; collaborating with the reporting team to ensure dashboards are developed and communicated
- You will facilitate focus groups with the HCA cancer programs to ensure toolkits are meeting the programmatic needs
- You will communicate with all levels of Sarah Cannon leadership, clinicians, physicians, and ancillary department staff that is essential for program development in the hospital community setting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (4-year program)
- At least 3 years’ experience in a clinical setting
- RN License
- Oncology experience
- Proven delivery of clinical initiatives
- Navigation and Implementation experience
- At least 1-2 years of corporate Project/Program Management experience working with executives and physicians
- Experience in a high visibility position in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to present and communicate to senior executives and senior leaders including C-Suite
Preferred
- Master’s Degree (1-2 year program)
- Hospital and/or multi-facility management experience preferred
- Experience in business development
