Campus Service Technician (2nd Shift) - Applied Medical

Position Description

As a Campus Services Technician on 2nd Shift (2:00 p.m. -10:30 p.m.), you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

• Perform regular patrols to secure the buildings around Applied Medical’s campuses.
• Inspect security systems, doors and potential building hazards.
• Respond to alarm calls.
• Report lighting, air-conditioning or plumbing issues to the Maintenance team.

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

• Read or train to read design plans.
• Comfortable working in new construction sites or amidst remodeling projects.
• Familiarity with job-site safety rules and equipment.
• Perform manual labor, walk extensively, stand for periods of time, kneel, carry, and climb ladders.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work after hours and weekends.
• Computer literate.
• Team player.

Preferred

The following skills and attributes are preferred:

• Knowledge of Access and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems.
• Experience with security systems.
