Camp Supervisor - Englewood - Charlotte County, FL

Performs supervisory recreation work managing a day camp program designed to meet the needs and interests of County employees/residents. Plans and oversees activities, supervises counselors, and handles parents' concerns.
 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plans, organizes, coordinates, and stimulates interest in the activities associated with a  recreation camp program.
• Organizes and conducts contests, tournaments, displays, and other group activities.
• Ensures the safety and security of children and staff at a facility; maintains safe conditions at a facility.
• Supervises the maintenance of assigned camp location.
• Acts as a liaison with field trip venues; is responsible for maintaining the safety of children and staff at field trip locations and during transportation to and from field trip locations;  serves as public relations liaison to the public; supervises the actions of counselors.
• Collects and forwards necessary paperwork to supervisor.
• Prepares periodic and special reports.
