Camp Director

Reports to the General Manager-

Job Responsibilities:

Demonstrated experience working with and leading children preferably in sports and cooperative games.

• Desire and ability to supervise, lead, and positively manage campers and work with other staff in a cooperative, team-oriented camp atmosphere.
• Knowledge and skills in athletics and games and the ability to teach these skills to campers of all ages and staff in an inclusive, creative, and fun way.
• Possess excellent character, integrity, adaptability, patience, self-control, enthusiasm, and a sense of humor.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience coaching/teaching both youth and adult sports
• Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and negotiating skills
• Must be a team player
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Must possess current CPR/FIRST AID certifications or must be willing to obtain them within a specified period of time
