We are recruiting for mid-level, and senior engineers with a background in DevOps Engineering.
Key Skills include:
- Jira metrics reporting
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, & Ansible
- OpenStack Management
- Docker containerization, Kubernetes (K8s)
- Linux tools/automation and shell scripting
- Python and Executing and troubleshooting complex, automated processes used to configure servers and/or deploy code
- Continuous integration/deployment tools such as Jenkins or GitLab

Basic Qualifications:
Sr. Principal Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (ideally Computer Science or Engineering) and 9 years of experience; OR a master’s degree and 7 years: OR a PhD and 4 years. Experience can be considered in lieu of degree
- 5+ year(s) of DevOps or software development experience
- 5+ years in a technical leadership role managing technical objectives and Jira metrics reporting
- U.S. Citizenship with a current or active Top-Secret clearance at the time of application
Principal Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (ideally Computer Science or Engineering) and 5 years of experience; OR a master’s degree and 3 years: OR a PhD and 0 years. Experience can be considered in lieu of degree
- 3+ year(s) of DevOps or software development experience
- 3+ years in a technical leadership role managing technical objectives and Jira metrics reporting
- U.S. Citizenship with a current or active Top-Secret clearance at the time of application

Salary Range: $107,300 - $160,900Salary Range 2: $133,000 - $199,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
