SUMMARY: The call center supervisor is responsible for participating in and overseeing the daily operations of the call center, ensuring efficient performance and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This role involves leading a team of customer service representatives, providing training and support, implementing procedures to improve productivity and quality of service, and resolving escalated customer issues. The call center supervisor must possess strong leadership and communication skills to effectively execute and contribute to the overall success of the department.
ON SITE ROLE - NO WEEKENDS - OPERATING HOURS OF 7-7PM
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and motivate a team of customer service representatives to achieve performance targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Monitor call center activities to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Provider ongoing training and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct one on one and performance evaluations to provide feedback to employees to support their professional development.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries or complaints, resolving issues promptly, effectively, and professionally.
- Analyze call center metrics and performance data to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to optimize productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and workflows to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments such as IT and marketing to address technical issues and improve service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of call center activities, including call logs, reports and performance metrics.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in call center management and customer service.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has supervisory responsibilities.
- Directly supervises employees within the call center.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in a call center environment with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in call center software and computer systems
- Solid understanding of customer service principles and practices
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive performance improvements.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on finding effective solutions.
