About The Role
The Sales Manager role will work alongside the VP of Customer Success to implement Sales Processes, monitor Sales Reports and activities, as well as manage the Team Lead role which is responsible for overseeing our teams of Sales Representatives.
This role will focus on sales processes to increase lead conversion rates, rebooking opportunities and the reduction of cancellations. As well as look at ways to ensure a smooth customer experience from the first call to the final touchpoint in preparation for our in-field Vet teams to complete their customer appointments as effectively as possible. This role will focus on the daily output of the Sales Agents and work to improve and refine our call center team and execute on continuous growth strategies.
The Sales Manager will help develop and track department KPIs to drive revenue targets, by keeping our team competitive, innovative and focused. This role will be responsible for maximizing our sales teams potential, crafting sales processes and assisting to launch them with our Sales Teams. Then following through on the delivery of agreed upon KPIs for Monthly, Quarterly and Annual targets.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve growth of sales targets by overseeing and managing the strategic output of the Sales Agent teams
- Design, implement and monitor sales plans that fine tune our sales processes to improves close, retention and repeat business rates
- Help develop, coach and motivate the Leadership Sales Members to further develop their skills and ensure a high performance standards is achieved to influence Agent KPIs
- Present sales and retention reports and use data to support team refinement and improvements
- Work closely with the Customer Support Dept to better understand issue and areas of learning that can help improve both customer satisfaction rates, and use insights to improve our sales process/results
Daily Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Gathering and processing sales data and analyze Salesforce reports to improve Department results
- Uncovering items needing a better defined process for training, coaching or workflow improvements
- Analyzing data to determine which strategies are most effective in closing and retaining customers
- Assisting in Department project prioritization & execution
- Communicating with team members, department heads, and key stakeholders
Requirements and Skills:
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience
Experience:
- Several years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Previous experience in a call center environment, preferably in a leadership or managerial role
Leadership Skills:
- Strong leadership and management skills to effectively lead and motivate a team of sales representatives
- Ability to set clear goals, provide constructive feedback, and drive performance improvements
Analytical Skills:
- Proficiency in analyzing sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic changes
- Ability to use data to make informed decisions and drive sales results
Technology Proficiency:
- Familiarity with call center technology, customer relationship management (CRM - specifically Salesforce) systems, and other relevant sales tools
Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and obstacles that may arise in the sales process
- Proactive in finding solutions to improve sales performance
