Job Summary
Supports member and provider complex questions and concerns related to detailed claim, membership, authorization, benefits, contracts, and a variety of other call center related core activities. Participate in member wellness activities, re-enrollment/dis-enrollment activities, and will conduct surveys and assessments. Assists with carrying out all call center activities and supports with other departments within El Paso Health (EPH) as necessary. Focus on primary line of business, which may include, but is not limited to, Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, Health Care Options (HCO), and Third Party Administration (TPA) programs.
Skills
1. Excellent bi-lingual oral/written skills in English and Spanish.
2. Excellent interpersonal skills.
3. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
4. Computer awareness and willingness to learn data entry required.
5. Performs the basic functions or arithmetic; add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure.
6. Performs reading, writing, and speaking at all intermediate level, demonstrating good oral and written communication skills as well as attention detail.
7. Excellent customer service and communication skills as demonstrated by experience.
Work Experience
Two years of experience working in call center environment with hands on experience using a management information system to track Member and Provider interactions. Strong familiarity and exposure to Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, or Third Party Administration and/or social service system required with the ability to meet call center performance expectations.
License/Registration/Certification
None.
Education and Training
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
