About the Job
Credit union in southeast Houston is looking for a Call Center Representative to join their team. The CSR will act as a liaison for members and the credit union, counsel members regarding financial matters, and assist with updating account information. This position will also be responsible for promoting and sales and service culture by actively recommending credit union products and services to meet members' needs. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Primary Duties:
- Answer incoming phone and email inquiries from members regarding loan and deposit services, credit, debit, and ATM cards, account information, transfer requests, stop payments, and check supplies
- Process payments
- Evaluate member's needs and articulate the features and benefits of products and service and provide the member with available options
- Assist members with origination of loan applications
- Meet and or exceed minimum standards set for call center representatives
- Assist in training of new staff
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when faced with high demand/high volume work loads
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of call center experience, credit union experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have proactive attitude toward members, supervisors, co-workers, and the credit union
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to articulate information as needed to members and team members
