About the Job
4 Corner Resources is seeking multiple Call Center Representatives in the Lakewood Ranch, Florida area. As a Call Center Representative, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients and their families seeking information and guidance on hospice care within patient triage.
Call Center Representative Responsibilities:
- Serve as the frontline for all customer service calls, offering empathetic and knowledgeable assistance to patients and their loved ones.
- Coordinate service inquiries and ensure prompt access.
- Ability to handle a high volume of inquiries via telephone.
- Communicate effectively, articulating tailored information and education on programs and services to meet individual customer needs.
- Utilize Care Navigation protocols to efficiently facilitate appointments based on patient requirements.
- Collaborate with patients, families, community providers, and team members to ensure accurate and complete patient referrals, consistently updating electronic medical records (EMR) in real-time.
- Experience in a call center environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- One to three months of relevant experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, crucial for interactions with patients, families, and providers.
- Proficient in data entry, multitasking, and critical thinking.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Highly desired understanding of HIPAA compliance regulations and basic knowledge of healthcare reimbursement.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and non-hospice related healthcare and community resources is highly desired.
- Experience with ERM systems.
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Pay rate:
$15-$18 an/ HR.
