Call Center Representative - Sacramento, CA

Compensation: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour

Overview: Nexus HR is currently seeking a detail-oriented,  analytical Call Center Representative to function as the Outbound Marketing Associate  with excellent verbal and written communication skills to join our team in Sacramento, CA. This is for a pioneering organization, committed to improving reproductive health outcomes. The company’s mission revolves around creating advanced carrier screening genetic tests that smoothly mesh with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems found in fertility clinics.

About the Job

As an Outbound Marketing Associate, you will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing data to help inform strategic marketing decisions.  You will collaborate closely with the CEO, playing a key role in advancing the groundbreaking genetic testing service. This role holds significant importance in understanding how fertility clinics access and utilize genetic information, and how integrating their services with an EHR system can ensure efficient healthcare delivery. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research through various methods including cold calling, surveys, and internet research

• Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand

• Evaluate and interpret data using statistical techniques and provide actionable insights and recommendations

• Prepare reports and presentations of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights

• Provide comprehensive analysis of the carrier screening landscape and support the development of sales strategy for product launch

• Assist in developing marketing strategies based on research findings

• Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement research projects that support business objectives

• Be part of the beta testing of our software pipeline

• Assist in creating and developing marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations in preparation for product launch

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current and future genomic trends

• Attend meetings and trainings as required

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in market research and analysis

Qualifications:

• At least one year experience in cold-calling for marketing research or any related field.

• Undergraduate or graduating in a Marketing, Business Management, or related program is preferred

• Previous volunteer experience is preferred

• Experience working as a marketing research associate or in a similar role

• At least one year of customer service experience

• At least one year of experience in marketing in the healthcare industry

• Demonstrated success predicting market trends

• Passion for statistical research and analysis

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong commitment to maintaining comprehensive knowledge of current and future genomic trends

• Strong analytical skills to provide a comprehensive analysis of the carrier screening landscape

• Able to attend conferences, industry gatherings, and client visits

• Authorized to work in the US

• Able to work in Sacramento, CA
