Call Center Enrollment Specialist Overview: The Call Center Enrollment Specialist will have an active Life and Health License. Responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound calls to assist prospects and customers with the enrollment process for various programs or services. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Call Center Enrollment Specialist Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will participate in different sales prospecting activities via phone on inbound and outbound dialer calls as well as meeting with prospects via teams through Calendly appointments.
- Provide accurate and comprehensive information to customers and prospects regarding eligibility requirements, enrollment procedures, and program benefits.
- Assist customers in completing enrollment applications over the phone, ensuring all necessary information is accurately captured.
- Verify customer information and documentation to ensure compliance with program requirements.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections in a professional and courteous manner.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or supervisors for resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using designated systems or software.
- Meet or exceed performance goals related to call quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on program policies, procedures, and updates to provide accurate information to customers.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.
- Duties as assigned.
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- Proven experience in a customer service or call center role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications.
- Ability to remain calm and composed when dealing with challenging or irate customers.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Previous experience in enrollment or healthcare-related programs is a plus.
