Rate Range: $17/hour to $18/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Call Center Associate Job Description:
We are seeking 10 + motivated and customer-oriented Call Center Agents to join our team in a new call center we are building in our corporate office in Jacksonville. In this role, you will be the voice of one of our insurance clients, delivering exceptional customer service, accurately addressing inquiries, and ensuring positive experiences with each interaction. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring proactive solutions, and maintain excellent communication skills to engage with diverse customer needs. This client does mostly specialty insurance (property casualty, claims, Third-Party Administrator TPA, etc.). They mainly provide insurances to hospitals, school districts, colleges, universities, and will hopefully be expanding to include government clients.

Customer service very important. Talking about the schools, administrator from schools. We are hoping agents know the details about the insurance industry, how it all works, what Third-Party Administrator (TPA) is, claim screens, etc.
Current call center gets both provider and member calls. Medical/dental/vision, cobra, etc. Providers calling about benefits and eligibility. Out of 100% of the calls, 50% come out that are handled by a Customer Service Rep. For all the member calls, there is no automation. We will be starting with provider side, maybe expand to member.

Key Responsibilities:
Engage professionally in both inbound and outbound calls, providing timely resolutions and fostering customer trust.
Deliver clear and precise information on products, services, and account-related details, ensuring customers have an accurate understanding.
Identify customer needs promptly and provide thoughtful solutions or appropriate alternatives to enhance customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of all interactions in accordance with standard procedures, ensuring data integrity and easy follow-up.
Escalate complex cases efficiently to appropriate departments or supervisory personnel as required, ensuring smooth issue resolution.
Meet and exceed performance goals by achieving individual and team targets related to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Stay informed on product updates, policies, and industry trends to assist customers effectively and confidently.
Collaborate actively with team members and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and service delivery.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (additional customer service certifications are a plus).
Prior experience in a call center or customer service role preferred but not essential; we welcome eager learners!
Insurance Industry experience working with claims, employee/member benefits, TPA (Third-Party Administrator), etc. – PREFERRED not required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of providing information professionally and clearly.
Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
Calm, patient, and courteous demeanour, particularly in challenging situations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software.
Bilingual (Spanish) a nice to have but not required.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
