We are recruiting for a Calibration Technician to work on-site at our Shakopee, MN, location. The primary responsibility of this position will be to calibrate electrical/optical/mechanical test equipment per established work instructions on a periodic basis to ensure measurement accuracy. This position will also be responsible for performing dimensional measurements on products to ensure conformance to product drawing dimensional requirements.
How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
+ Responsible for the of calibration software to collect, record, analyze and report calibration data and work with external calibration suppliers.
+ Follow calibration schedules and provide status in the calibration system.
+ Utilize custom computer software used with test equipment to acquire data.
+ Create, review, and approve calibration work instructions.
+ Work with the lab manager on work scheduling and priority.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
+ Five or more years of calibration experience in electrical and mechanical measurement equipment.
+ Solid communication skills, including excellent writing skills and fluency in English.
You Will Excite Us If You Have:
+ Associate in related curriculum such as mechanical engineering technician, electronic systems technician, metrology technician, etc.,
+ Experience with calibration of fiber optic test equipment.
+ Experience in a laboratory environment.
