The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Paralegal/Calendar Clerk to join our growing team. We're on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to contribute their strong work ethic and grow with our firm.
The ideal candidate will possess a diverse background in bankruptcy, foreclosure, and/or real estate law. You'll be adept at meeting tight deadlines, highly organized, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, providing stellar customer service along the way.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and maintain the weekly schedule of appearances for our entire team, ensuring attorneys are scheduled/cancelled for appearances according to specific requirements.
Manage email correspondence related to scheduling conflicts, appearance cancellations, and escalated scheduling issues.
Effectively communicate with clients, defendants, and the Court, and accurately input information into our case management system.
Prepare detailed appearance outlines with comprehensive case chronologies to ensure attorneys are well-prepared for their appearances.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in lender side default services/real estate litigation.
Detail-oriented with a strong ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Comfortable managing a heavy workload and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Confident and articulate communication skills, particularly over the phone.
Ability to perform well under pressure.
