About the Job
The Pharmacist performs a variety of duties, which require special skills and knowledge in the various aspects of hospital pharmacy. A primary function of this position is the preparation, distribution, and control of medications that are used within the hospital and/or dispensed for use outside the hospital. - Current pharmacy license in the State of Alabama with no record of licensure revocation or suspension.
- At least one-year hospital experience preferred.
- BLS certification required by the end of employee provisional period.
- Must maintain required certifications.
- Provides quality patient care for the needs of the populations served and age specific groups as indicated: pediatric (gt;1 – 12 years), adolescent (gt;12 – 17 years), adult (gt;17 – 65 years), and geriatric (gt;65 years).
