What you’ll be doing:

1. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude by smiling, making eye contact, and greeting staff members
2. Communicate efficiently with colleagues using a friendly tone
3. Check production orders to ensure the correct variety and quantity of cakes, staying alert for any issues
4. Operate equipment correctly and follow established recipes for consistency
5. Adjust over temperatures as needed
6. Manage ingredient storage and replenish supplies
7. Clean and Sanitize work areas
8. Maintain bakery equipment and notify maintenance of any issues
9. Provide support to staff in other areas
10. Perform additional duties as needed or directed

Skills you’ll bring along:

1. Communicate effectively with staff
2. Read and comprehend simple instructions and follow recipes
3. Work under the direction of the Bakery Manager
4. Prepare cakes and other baked goods accordingly
5. Organization and cleanliness

Pay Rate: $14.00

Job Type:

1. No Sunday hours
2. Part-time or Full-time flexible schedule
3. Hours Monday through Saturday, May work more hours during the holidays
4. Work a rotation schedules, including some evenings, Saturdays and Holidays

Physical Requirements:

1. This position requires being on your feet for extended periods of time
2. Regularly requires standing and walking
3. Be able to lift and/or move 10 to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds.
