Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cage Cashier to join our team in Kenner, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for executing monetary transactions and maintaining accurate financial records while providing exceptional customer service in our gaming establishment.

• Process various monetary transactions including gaming chips, tickets, checks, markers, and fills according to gaming regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate window bank balance and safeguard casino cage assets during assigned shifts
• Process guest credit applications and maintain customer credit files with attention to detail
• Issue window markers and manage safety deposit box services for guests
• Enter transaction data into computer systems, including markers, fill slips, and credit documentation
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and provide information about current promotions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation
• Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations and company procedures
• Reconcile transactions and balance accounts at the end of shifts
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be {AGE} of age or older
• Previous cashiering or money handling experience preferred
• Strong mathematical aptitude and currency handling skills
• Proficiency in operating calculators, computers, and money counting equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 26 pounds
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required gaming certifications and licenses
• Demonstrated integrity and trustworthiness
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure
