Overview:
Do you enjoy counting money? Parkwest is seeking a Cage Assistant Shift Supervisor to assist in the Main Cage department.
As a Cage Assistant Shift supervisor you will assist the Cage Shift Supervisor with the operations of the cage during a shift and acts in this capacity during the Shift Supervisor's days off.

Responsibilities:- Perform all tasks in a manner that exemplifies our core values, meets established quality standards and are in compliance with applicable regulations and requirements.
- Display guest care by:
- Acknowledge every client with the following 3 actions, even when you’re busy; make eye contact; smile; verbal greeting i.e. “hello”, “good morning”, “it’s nice to see you”, “welcome”.
- Observe clients. Watch body language and listen to their words so you know what they need.
- Look to make meaningful connections with your clients daily.
- Be proactive in asking clients if they need help or service. Don’t wait for clients to ask for help or service.
- Display a positive and friendly demeanor.
- Display positive body language by:
- When standing, clasp or hold hands in front of your body while maintaining good posture. No slouching.
- Look attentive and engaged.
- Use an open palm when showing a client something or ushering them in a direction.
- Greet customers in a pleasant and courteous manner, thank customers for playing.
- Displays working knowledge of Title 31 regulations.
- Maintains security and accountability of company funds located in the cage during a shift.
- Supervises Cashiers to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Reports infractions to Shift Supervisor.
- Must be available to work any shift including weekends, holidays, on call and overtime when needed.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
- Must be able to pass mandatory screening which may include a background and credit check, and drug test.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment team member permit, badge or license.
- Must demonstrate basic math and financial skills.
- Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
- Good organizational and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Excellent skills in customer relations.
- Must be 21 years of age.
Education: High school diploma, G.E.D or equivalent. Associate’s degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in all phases of casino cashiering and credit operation.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
