Role Overview
Lead the creative and operational vision for Local Eclectic's new cafe and wine bar concept. You'll develop distinctive menus, curate specialty ingredients, and craft an exceptional guest experience through culinary innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Culinary Leadership
- Design and execute an innovative, seasonally-driven menu aligned with our brand identity
- Lead menu development, testing, and refinement
- Establish culinary standards and quality control protocols
Operations Management
- Oversee cafe and kitchen build-out
- Implement systems for inventory, cost control, and daily operations
- Create and maintain service standards for both front and back of house
Team Development
- Build and lead high-performing culinary and service teams
- Establish training programs and performance standards
- Create a collaborative, growth-focused work culture
Vendor Relations & Sourcing
- Develop partnerships with local farms, artisans, and specialty vendors
- Source premium ingredients that elevate our menu offerings
- Manage supplier relationships and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience as Executive Chef, Culinary Director, or GM in upscale dining
- Proven track record in menu development and kitchen operations
- Strong team leadership and staff development capabilities
- Experience with restaurant build-outs preferred
- Passion for hospitality and guest experience excellence
