Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an Estimator/CADD Operator to assist on a variety of public/private sector infrastructure utility projects in Albany, NY!
Colliers Engineering & Design offers aspiring Estimators/CADD Operators the opportunity to work on a very diverse range of projects, often complex in nature for a wide spectrum of clients. The work setting is highly collaborative with structured mentoring from a team of seasoned engineers and other discipline professionals. Responsibilities
+ Produce CAD drawings for utility-based clients, including plans, profiles, sections, and details using primarily AutoCAD and other platforms necessary.
+ Quantity take-offs from CAD and surface model files.
+ Estimate of quantities and project estimates.
+ Apply and integrate various client CAD standards into CAD templates.
+ Assist the engineering and project management team with CAD Design methodology utilizing principles and practices from prior experience.
+ Perform QA/QC on work products from other CADD design and engineering staff.
Qualifications
+ Associates degree in engineering technology preferred, but not required.
+ 0-2 years of CADD design experience.
+ Mechanical minded thinking.
+ AutoCAD/MicroStation or related software such as Solid Works or Autodesk a plus.
+ Willing to work independently and with others as a team member.
+ Interested in work in a team setting with strong collaboration skills.
+ Proficient in written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Compensation: $18.84 to $23.26 per hour (depending on qualifications)
