Cad Technician - Selectek, Inc.

A CAD Technician responsible for assisting project managers and other engineers in the preparation of construction plans and specifications on projects within NC, SC, VA, and WV. Full-service engineering firm specializing in aviation, highway and bridge programs.

Required:

• 3+ years of experience with civil engineering development projects
• High School Diploma
• Associate's Degree in related field (preferred)
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing design tasks associated with all aspects of airport development while working under the direction of civil engineers
• Earthwork and site grading design
• Stormwater design
• Coordinating production and development of airport improvement plans, specifications, design calculations, technical documents, etc.
• Calculating construction quantities and developing cost estimates
• Understanding survey data and capable of incorporation of survey into design documents

Location: Greensboro, NC
Salary Range: 55k-70k
