CAD Technician - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is looking for a CAD Technician who will be responsible for assisting project managers and other engineers in the preparation of construction plans and specifications on projects within NC, SC, VA, and WV.

Required:

• 3+ years of experience with civil engineering development projects
• High School Diploma
• Associate's Degree in related field (preferred)
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform design tasks associated with all aspects of airport development while working under the direction of civil engineers
• Earthwork and site grading design
• Stormwater design
• Coordinate production and development of airport improvement plans, specifications, design calculations, technical documents, etc.
• Calculate construction quantities and developing cost estimates
• Able to understand survey data and capable of incorporation of survey into design documents

Pay Range: $26.44/hour - $31.25/hour ($55,000 - $65,000 DOE)
Pay method when direct: Salary
Term of assignment: 6 month temp to direct or direct if necessary
Location of Job: Greensboro, NC (27407)
WFH/Remote: No
Hours & Shift: Monday - Friday: 8am – 5pm
Overtime: Some potentially, on occasion
Travel: No
Work Attire: Business casual
