Our client, a major employer in the area, is looking for a CAD Technician to be part of its team in its North American operations.
Description:
Detailed Description of Responsibilities:
Possible Lead CAD Technician in near future
Support the PE Battery Manufacturing Engineering projects through interpretation, revision, and creation of 2D CAD drawings for plant utilities (Mech, Elec, Piping, HVAC) and process equipment layouts.
The technician will be part of the PE Construction Management Group engineering team, providing process engineers and technicians, installation contractors with expertise in revising, manipulating, reviewing 2D CAD layout drawings. Additionally this team member sill be responsible for management of the drawing documentation process to ensure released documents are issued in an efficient and timely manner.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Post secondary education, ACAD Training or Certification in technical drawing or related field.
- Strong skill in Autodesk AutoCAD (+3 Year minimum)
- 3 to 5 years of overall facility layout and industry experience with equipment installations and utility connectivity required.
- Ability to interpret prints and drawings and relate that information into 2D CAD data
Added Bonus:
- Experience with Autodesk Vault, Revit, Inventor
- Knowledge of CAD Best practices
- Knowledge of other CAD products and Suites
- Automotive industry experience
