Job Details
Responsibilities:
Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, or MicroStation to create and modify survey related drawings.
Incorporate survey data field notes and measurements into CAD drawings.
Follow established CAD standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy in drawings.
Apply symbols labels and annotation to accurately represent survey data and features.
Assist in the preparation of CAD drawings for survey projects under the guidance of senior technicians or surveyors.
Assist in processing survey data and importing it into CAD software.
Verify data accuracy and consistency to maintain high quality CAD deliverables.
Conduct basic quality control checks on CAD drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Work closely with surveyor’s engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
Stay updated with CAD software and tools relevant to surveying.
Participate in training and development activities to enhance CAD skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
An associate or bachelor’s degree in surveying geomatics, civil engineering or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation is desirable.
Pasic understanding of surveying principles data collection and data management.
Familiarity with geospatial data coordinate systems and mapping standards
Attention to detail and accuracy in CAD drafting and data processing.
