We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer-aided Design (CAD) Systems Specialist and Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the CAD systems and ensuring their effective use across various projects. This role requires a deep understanding of CAD software, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
What You Will Do
- Site leadership to maintain and support implementation of CAD systems.
- Site level management and maintenance of all CAD software and licensing. Including staying updated with the latest advancements in CAD technology, recommended improvements and skills to implement new CAD software.
- Manage the site MOC (Management of Change) changes for all site CAD documentation. Includes managing CAD data, documentation and site processes to ensure its integrity and security.
- Collaborate on cross-site Engineering Practices and site technical guidance for CAD systems and associated work processes.
- Develop, update and enforce CAD standards and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Work with engineering, design, and construction teams to ensure CAD systems meet project requirements and that FHR expectations for data and documentation, the digital asset handover, are understood.
- Provide training and support to team members on CAD software and best practices. Includes troubleshooting and resolving CAD issues with IT to find solutions and improvements.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 5+ years proven experience in AutoCAD and managing CAD systems as an individual contributor.
- Strong understanding of engineering and design principles.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Supervisory experience for a CAD Team (drafters, designers, and/or technicians) or a related technical area.
- Experience managing Process Safety Information and compliance systems.
- Experience with Revit, Hexagon CADWorx, Intergraph Smart 3D/P&ID, Aveva E3D and P&ID, Plant 3D and/or document and data management in Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Experience in the refining, chemicals and/or with Lean practices.
- Certification in CAD software or related fields.
This role is subject to the Transportation Workers Identification Credentialing (TWIC) rule and requires the successful candidate to obtain a TWIC identification badge, allowing for un-escorted access to the facility within a specific time period.
