CAD Manager - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is partnering with a firm based near Marietta, Georgia to add a CAD Manager to their team on a temp-to-perm basis. Candidates will be focused on managing the design department for a firm specializing in clean air technologies for heavy industrial facilities. Our client is moving quickly to interview candidates with their desired skills and characteristics!

Expected Pay Range: $38-$48 per hour before conversion
Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Job Duties:
Candidates in this role will assist engineering managers in developing a data-driven CAD program with design templates, create procedures, and instruct design teams on best practices/standards.  This firm is working to streamline processes, so the CAD Manager will oversee design work while also improving processes in Autodesk and AutoCAD programs.  Candidates will generate reports based on project data to create KPIs and recommend improvements.

Job Requirements:
- BS Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field
- 3+ years of CAD management experience, preferably in a multi-location environment 
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, Plant 3D, and Construction Cloud
- Knowledge of template writing, procedures, and best practices for CAD use
- Comfortable with data analysis and reporting
- Ideal candidates have heavy industrial equipment design experience, as well as knowledge of Navisworks or Solidworks
