Overview:TRC is looking for an experienced candidate to join the Integrated Field Solutions team to provide development support to users engaged in projects that span all energy markets (Gas, Electric, Wind, Solar, Battery Storage and more). The Developer - CAD/GIS Systems will support a variety of users remotely as well as develop, maintain, and deploy customized software within TRC. The Developer - CAD/GIS Systems will work closely with users of varying levels to gather requirements for enhancements to existing tools or development of new solutions, as well as troubleshoot issues with internally developed tools. The Developer - CAD/GIS Systems will work closely with functional leads to improve existing automations, workflows, and proprietary plugins/models.
Responsibilities:- Maintain and enhance existing TRC developed plug-ins
- Develop and enhance GIS applications using ESRI technologies.
- Understanding and automating existing workflows
- Provide technical expertise for developing and implementing solutions using APS APIs and desktop SDKs (Civil3D, Map3D, AutoCAD)
- Experience with Autodesk Dynamo and APIs for Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Perform unit, functional, and user acceptance testing.
- Interact with various database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Azure Data Lake).
- Create and document deployment strategies and test plans.
- Conduct software analysis, development, and maintenance.
- Troubleshooting w/End Users
- BA/S in Computer Science or related field, 2-5 years of professional experience preferred.
- Proven software development experience with Python, C/C++, JavaScript, .NET, ReactJS
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional Preferred Skillsets
- Familiarity with Agile Methodology
- Understanding of ArcGIS Interoperability with Autodesk products
- Implement web-based user interfaces using C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Experience with back-end technologies (Node.js, ASP .NET) and databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server).
- Familiarity with ESRI tools (ArcGIS API for JavaScript, ArcPy).

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
