We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic CAD Engineer with a specialization in Millwork to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position with the flexibility to work remotely. The successful candidate will be part of an innovative team, contributing to the design and development of state-of-the-art millwork products in the manufacturing industry. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment and is eager to apply their expertise to create high-quality, precision-engineered millwork designs.
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize CAD software to create detailed millwork designs and plans based on project specifications and requirements.
2. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure designs are accurate and meet quality standards.
3. Review and modify existing drawings, making adjustments or changes as necessary.
4. Perform complex calculations to determine manufacturing specifications and material requirements.
5. Use 3D modeling to visualize end products and make necessary modifications.
6. Participate in project meetings, providing expert advice and feedback on millwork designs.
7. Keep up-to-date with the latest CAD software and technology, implementing them into your work to improve efficiency and quality.
8. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and standards, as well as industry regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a CAD Engineer role, with a focus on millwork preferred.
3. Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
4. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.
5. Excellent technical drawing skills with attention to detail.
6. Strong knowledge of millwork products and materials.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a team and explain complex technical concepts.
9. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage workload effectively.
10. Must be able to work efficiently in a remote setting, with reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
