We are seeking an experienced, passionate and dedicated CAD Drafter to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using cutting-edge technology. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of both Civil 3D and 3D Modeling. This is a full-time, permanent position with ample opportunities for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop comprehensive and accurate 3D models and engineering drawings in line with project specifications and guidelines.
2. Utilize Civil 3D and other drafting software to create, modify, and manage technical drawings and plans.
3. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and translate these into detailed technical drawings.
4. Ensure all drawings and models comply with company and industry standards and protocols.
5. Conduct regular quality checks to identify and correct any errors or discrepancies in drawings and models.
6. Maintain an organized database of all drawings and models, ensuring easy access and retrieval when needed.
7. Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations by providing technical drawings and models.
8. Participate in project meetings, providing input and suggestions to improve design efficiency and effectiveness.
9. Continually update skills and knowledge on the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in drafting.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
2. Proficient in Civil 3D, 3D Modeling, and other relevant drafting software.
3. A solid understanding of engineering drawings, drafting principles, and techniques.
4. Excellent attention to detail with a strong ability to visualize in 3D.
5. Strong technical drawing skills with the ability to produce accurate and detailed models.
6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
7. A degree in Engineering, Architecture, Design, or a related field is preferred.
8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
10. A continuous learner, willing to stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
