TRAK Machine Tools (TMT) is a manufacturer of CNC controls and CNC machine tools for R & D, tooling, and low-volume machining applications. We integrate our CNC controls with machine tools and sell the finished products as turnkey systems under the respected brand names of TRAK and ProtoTRAK. We sell directly to users in much of the United States, with distributor sales in other parts of North America and Europe.

Job Overview:

TRAK Machine Tools is seeking an entry level CAD Designer to join our Engineering team. The CAD Department is responsible for supporting our Mechanical, Electrical and Software Engineers in developing our very own CNC Machines.

Duties:

• Update existing 3D assemblies and or create 2D Drawings.

• Create and or update Bills of Material

• Process drawing changes through our Engineering Change Request process.

• With data management tools such as Solidworks PDM & Solidworks Manage.

• Convert Legacy Data from Solid Edge to Solidworks

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of Solidworks CAD Experience.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or 5 years in relevant experience.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes. (Mills vs Lathes)

• Experience with Microsoft Products (Excel and Word)

Compensation

The base compensation range for this full-time position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour plus benefits. The pay range displayed indicates the minimum and maximum target for a new hire salary for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
