Experience Requirements:

Minimum associate degree in drafting, design or an equivalent

CAD Degree Preferred

Auto Desk inventor experience

Position Skill Requirements, Minimum Training, and Experience Required:

• Building and structural understanding
• Strong computer & networking skills
• High skill level in CAD software/ MPanel / Cutting Edge
• Skilled in PC usage and associated software
• Conceptual ability
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving skills
• Design skills
• Sewing and Handling Fabric

Position Tasks/Key Responsibilities:

• Develop CAD drawings for projects and provide needed information to production
• Work with project managers to ensure drawings are accurate
• Log time for work performed
• Field measure some projects and patterning
• Maintain log of job numbers cross reference to drawing numbers
• Identify resources needed
• Solve problems as needed
• Produce construction documents from AutoCAD/Inventor
• Construction Document compatibility of awnings and exhibits for use by the CAD-Cutting room, router and shop drawings
• Ability to review ither CAD designer work
• Ability to read and interpret a LF&MS job ticket
• Ability to write and speak English sufficient to communicate LF&MS work job ticket related subject
• Ability to read, understand and pass pertinent LF&MS internal hiring tests with a score of 70% or higher
• Special projects and team assignments as required
