Are you an experienced AutoCAD Designer / Steel Detailer with a strong background in 2D/3D design and structural steel detailing? Our client, a leading subsidiary of Steel Dynamics, is looking for a skilled professional to join the team in Fort Wayne, IN.
Job Duties:

• Structural design, drafting, and modeling
• Interpret and apply loading diagrams (uplift, snow drift, ponding, etc.)
• Create Joist/Girder/Deck placement plans and Bills of Material
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and other trades
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of materials

Ideally Seeking:

• 3+ years of experience in steel detailing
• Solid knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D software
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings
• Strong communication skills
• AAS degree in Design
