Established custom cabinetry manufacturer located in Coal City, IL looking to fill a full time general labor position. Some prior woodworking experience is preferred, but not required.
Established custom cabinetry manufacturer located in Coal City, IL looking to fill a full time general labor position. Some prior woodworking experience is preferred, but not required.
Job responsibilities include:
- Shop clean up, putting tools away, sanding, staining, operating hand tools.
- Additional tasks or projects as defined by owner and team lead.
- We will provide training in all aspects of manufacturing custom cabinetry.
- Understanding company assembly standards and installation techniques.
- Follow quality and safety standards.
Personal requirements:
- Ability to read a tape measure a plus, basic mathematical skills.
- Communication skills in English and physically fit (standing for long periods, bending, reach, squat and lift up to 50lbs or more).
- Team player, service orientated, honest and reliable.
- Problem solving skills and able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Willing to learn a trade from the ground up and follow direction.
Rate of pay based on experience.
