General Responsibilities:

The Cabinet Estimator will be able to design and compile competitive cabinet quotes derived from field measures and/or blueprint take offs. They will coordinate with outside sales as well as any vendors necessary. They will need to maintain accurate files, have excellent communication skills, and be self-motivated to meet deadlines. Must have experience in design programs such as ProKitchen and/or 2020.

Specific Responsibilities:

· Live the Famous 40 Fundamentals
· Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
· Perform cabinet take offs based on blueprints that have been supplied from the customer
· Determine if the product specified is within the scope of material that Famous can supply
· Perform job walks to measure individual units for cabinets
· Create cabinet drawings in CAD, derived from field measures or blueprints
· Coordinate with outside sales team and vendors when appropriate
· Data enter/complete quote
· Obtain special pricing from vendors when appropriate, including freight to include in the quote
· Complete quote on or before specified deadline
· Work with project management team to relay all information needed to process order

Objectives:

· To submit competitive cabinet and countertop quotes to Famous’ customers
· To provide excellent customer service
· To ensure we deliver exactly what the customer is requesting exactly when they need it
