Note:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in California
- Proven experience as a COTA, preferably in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting
- Min 1 Year exp as a certified Occupation Therapist Assistant
- Candidate will provide occupational therapy services to patients across multiple facilities within our network, ensuring continuity of care and consistency in therapeutic interventions
- Assist Occupational Therapists in conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' activities of daily living (ADLs), motor skills, and overall functional abilities
- Travel to various facilities within the network to provide consistent and high-quality occupational therapy services
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary in collaboration with the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, therapeutic techniques, and strategies to enhance independence and quality of life
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in compliance with regulatory and facility standards
