C.T. Technologist - willing to train RTR! - Milford Regional Medical Center

Cat Scan services are provided in our main department, the Emergency department, and at our Milford Regional-Dana-Farber Cancer Center. All CT units have the same scanning platform to allow for easier assignment rotations.

Statement of Purpose:
Administers ionizing radiation to patients under the direction of a Radiologist. Performs diagnostic CT examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by an attending physician.

Qualifications:
Education: An Associates degree in Radiologic Technology required. Cross sectional anatomy courses required.

Certification/License: Registered A.R.R.T., MA License, current CPR skills, CT certification required.

Experience: Up to 1 year of diagnostic Radiologic experience. 1 year experience in CT preferred. Proficiency in IV contrast infusion techniques with certification in IV infusion.

Or to qualify as a Trainee

Education: An Associates degree or equivalent military training in Radiologic Technology is required.

Must maintain minimum Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) as required by State and ARRT guidelines.

Must successfully complete Cat Scan didactic training within 6 months of hire.

Certification/License: Radiologic Technologist License (RTL) required

American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT registered) required

Current CPR/BCLS skills

Experience: 1-2 years of radiologic technology experience preferred

MRMC Differentials:

Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
