You will join an team tasked with modernizing legacy capabilities onto a new microservice architecture using Kubernetes.
Periodic telework is authorized as tasking allows.
Qualifications & Compensation: ● Candidates must possess 20 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
● Candidates who can demonstrate 24 years of related experience without a degree may also qualify.
● Candidates who meet the above qualifications will earn approximately $332,000/year.
Description: ● Experience required to support container and container orchestration experience; ● High-speed networking and network protocol experience (preferred); ● Experience developing applications with python, C++, or GoLang; ● GitOps - agile Dev(Sec)Ops using Gitlab experience; ● API development experience such as gRPC, Corba, REST, etc; ● Linux / Unix experience; High-speed, distributed processing application development experience.
● Certified Kubernetes administrator (preferred).
● Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software.
● Debug existing software and correct defects.
● Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
● Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
● Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
