Buyer - Ultimate Staffing Services

Ultimate Staffing is currently seeking a Buyer to support a client in Rancho Cordova. This role can be a temp-to-hire role based on performance. Candidates must pass a background check and drug test upon offer of employment. The client operates a schedule of Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm and Fridays 8:00 am - 3:00 pm for a total of 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required at times depending on the workload. The positions is 100% onsite. The client is an ITAR facility.

Job Duties:

• Manage bids and negotiate prices with vendors and suppliers.
• Utilize ERP and MRP to forecast demands.
• Administer purchasing activities and planning of materials.
• Review and analyze material shortages.
• Generate reports to review purchasing performance.
• Evaluate ECO's.
• Consistently source for new suppliers for materials.

Requirements:

• 1 - 3 years of purchasing experience.
• Basic knowledge of ISO and AS9100
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• ERP/MRP experience.
