About the Job
At Delco Holdings, we are a fast-growing eCommerce & Distribution business specializing in consumer electronics, health & wellness products, home goods, etc. As we continue to scale our operations online and across various eCommerce platforms, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Buyer to join our team. In this role, you will manage procurement processes, supplier relationships, and inventory strategies to support our rapid growth and ensure smooth operations across all online sales channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement & Supplier Management:
Identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with suppliers, both domestically and internationally, to secure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery schedules. - Inventory Planning & Management:
Oversee inventory levels across various eCommerce platforms, ensuring stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts. - Amazon & eCommerce Operations Support:
Collaborate closely with the Amazon and eCommerce teams to forecast demand, monitor performance, and align purchasing strategies with sales trends. - Data-Driven Decision Making:
Analyze sales data, historical purchasing patterns, and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions. - Purchase Orders & Logistics:
Create and manage purchase orders, track shipments, and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods. - Cost Optimization & Budgeting:
Continuously assess purchasing practices to drive cost savings, improve profit margins, and meet company financial targets. - Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all purchases meet regulatory standards and quality expectations.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
2+ years of purchasing or procurement experience, ideally in an eCommerce, retail, or Amazon seller environment. - Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and other eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Walmart, etc.).
- Proficiency in using inventory management and purchasing software (e.g., TradeGecko, NetSuite, SAP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Education:
A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not required. - Personal Traits:
