Buyer Planner - JANUS et Cie

JANUS et Cie currently has an opening for a Buyer Planner to oversee Inventory Management and better improve processes.

This position is based in Santa Fe Springs, Ca. Mon-Fri.

Salary Range: $68k-$80K

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the planning, procurement and sourcing recommendations of assigned SKUs to meet Client and production needs
• Work with suppliers to ensure timely fulfillment of demand requirements and inventory replenishment needs
• Purchase and schedule finished goods/materials to meet production and sales requirements as needed
• Determine optimal inventory level for assigned SKUs
• Contribute to the development of inventory plan and manage performance to plan and targets
• Assist with the management of excess and obsolete inventory
• Advise management of market conditions and supply base activity which could affect quality, delivery, or price
• Analyze sales history to identify trends which might impact purchasing requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to resolve issues and streamline processes
• Flexible hours are required
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with large scale ERP systems
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel with demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to effectively demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills in a collaborative environment
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
• B.S. in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, Forecasting, or Supply Planning
