About the Job

Client is looking for order material experience considering what is on hand, future orders, material and shipping cost, and inventory targets. In addition, responsible for Bill of Material maintenance, schedule adherence, and service level measurements is needed.
Onsite Role
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop, communicate, and execute long-term raw material (RM) and subassemblies/work-in-progress (WIP) operating plans using the established company planning processes and system (RR) to align to overall Finished Goods operating plan including plant/product line sales forecast, production, and optimized inventory targets.
• Procurement of raw material and MRO items aligned to long-term operating plan needed to meet production demands, inventory targets, and conform to company policy.
• Analyze, reconcile, and maintain code level RM/WIP inventory and establish service and optimized inventory targets to meet business objectives while maintaining production. Identify and resolve excess, slow move and obsolete finished good inventory issues.
• Plan daily production schedule to establish sequence and lead-time of each workflow operation aligned to Master Production Schedule to meet shipping date according to sales forecast, customer orders, and, production efficiency, and optimized inventory targets.
• Expedite operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Partner with plant and stakeholders to analyze, identify, document, and drive inventory optimization and process improvement initiatives to minimize inventory and improve efficiency.
• Work with warehouse team to resolve problems for material receiving and releasing to warehouse.
• Process Bill of Material maintenance in PRMS and planning system (RR)
• Perform as key team player in the implementation of inventory and production planning systems.
• Ability to operate in the complex, global matrix environment.
Must haves:
• Understanding of production scheduling
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Current US Customs knowledge.
• Strong PC computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, etc).
• Works under time constraints that require creative thinking and ability to work under pressure.
• Comprehension of JD Edwards and Rapid Response
Preferred:
• Bachelor''s degree in business or technical field preferred.
• C.P.M. and/or CPIM certification preferred.
• Minimum three years applicable work experience preferred.
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry background desired.
• Knowledge of Total Quality Management and Supplier Partnering desired.
• Project management experience desirable.

The physical requirements of this position
• Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
• The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
