The Opportunity:

Take charge of our ingredient procurement and inventory management. Your expertise will keep our production lines running smoothly, ensuring timely material availability while optimizing costs. You'll be the go-to person for any ingredient-related challenges, requiring excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

What You'll Do:

• Inventory Master: Proactively replenish materials, monitor lead times and shelf life, and manage supplier relationships across the country.
• Cost-Saving Strategist: Analyze pricing, freight differentials, and explore alternative suppliers to drive cost savings.
• Problem Solver: Expedite materials, resolve quality issues, and act as the liaison between our company and vendors.
• Collaborator: Partner with R&D on new ingredients, support plant transfers, and coordinate with logistics teams.
• 24/7 Reliability: Be the point of contact to resolve urgent ingredient-related issues impacting production.

Your Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Math, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years of purchasing experience within food manufacturing, with a focus on ingredients.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, strong negotiation skills, and ideally, some knowledge of food commodity buying.
• Problem Solver & Communicator: Able to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and collaborate effectively across teams.

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 + 13% bonus potential and full benefits (including relocation).
