The Kasapis brothers-Eugene, Constantinos (Gus) and Steve opened the first Ram’s Horn restaurant in Detroit’s Cadillac Square in 1967. The brothers already had years of restaurant experience from helping their father, Demetri Kasapis, at his Receiving Lunch restaurant located in Detroit’s Greektown district.
With a successful enterprise under their belts, the family closed the restaurant in Greektown and focused on expanding the Ram’s Horn brand, granting their first franchise in 1974. The second Ram’s Horn opened in 1968 in Livonia, and the third followed in 1970 at Dequindre and 13 Mile Road.
The franchise has had locations in nearly every community in metro Detroit over the decades; currently, Ram’s Horn has 16 locations in Metro Detroit!!
After drawing loyal crowds to the Ram’s Horn for decades with their delicious food, great service, and friendly atmosphere, Ram’s Horn celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2017.
Ram’s Horn is very proud of the fact that they have kept their food quality standards up throughout the years, which most chain restaurants have had to give up due to the financial struggles many diners are dealing with. Ram’s Horn remains stable, but they want to go above and beyond this year!
